I chose to make a simple KZ level to exemplify the idea that I had, using colored platforms and a reveal of said color at the end to teach about colors. I tried to make it semi-difficult, but I still wanted it to be accessible to my intended age group of young grade schoolers. The only real goal is to complete the level - there would be more levels if I had more time to work with and had less issues with unity, but that is besides the point. I think KZ is a very fun and unique style of platforming that is really enjoyable, but I tried to keep it simple. My original idea was a little bit more complex, so I scrapped it in favor of my current build - but here is the original anyways

I used WebGL to publish the game, but that's about the limit of technicality involved. There isn't a need for score, so I didn't include one.
Playing the game is simple: just jump from platform to platform until the color is revealed. You use the standard W, A, S, and D keys to move and space to jump. That's about all there is to it.

Self Reflection
Overall I struggled a lot. I am not made for game design. It is not my passion nor do I have a talent for it. I tried to do what I could to get something done and this is what I came up with. I put in effort to find solutions like fixing minor code annoyances and putting in place ideas that seemed too ambitious. I ran into more problems with myself as a person than I did with the assignment, though those issues stemmed from my frustration of it. I feel like I have realized a lot of things about myself taking this class, most having to do with mental health and how much I actually enjoy this class. In the end, though, I did what I could and am not at all ashamed. I may be regretful, but I am not disappointed.
Conclusion Statement
In conclusion, I have done what I feel I needed to. I have followed as much as I could and put up with myself and my ability (or lack thereof) for as long as needed to. I made a simple color KZ level as a proof of concept, because if I did anything more, I would not only not have time, I would also probably harm myself. I am finished with this assignment.
